Twinings

Twining is an ancient technique that encourages experimentation. The twined vessel can stand alone, or be adapted to create an armature of wire, representing both strength and stability. This armature, covered with a ‘skin,' allows for the exploration of materials, layers, colors, and textures.  The surfaces may be translucent or opaque, with the underlying structure frequently visible.

"Bearing Witness"
...as we watch our country become more divided
...as we watch the growth of hatred and greed
...as we watch glaciers melt and cities drown
...as we watch people struggle with addiction and homelessness
...we bear witness
